Care for Wickory

A little care goes a long way, here’s how to get the best from your Wickory candle. 
Wickory candles are made with pure beeswax, a natural wax that burns slower and cleaner with the right care.

✂️ Trim the wick
Trim to 3–5 mm before each burn to keep the flame steady and clean.

🕯️ First burn matters
Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface on the first burn to prevent tunnelling.

⏳ Burn mindfully
Burn for up to 3 hours at a time to avoid overheating the wax or vessel.

🏡 Choose the right spot
Place on a stable, heat-safe surface away from drafts.

👀 Never leave unattended
Always supervise a burning candle and keep away from children and pets.

🛑 Know when to stop
Discontinue use when about 1 cm of wax remains to protect the vessel for reuse.
