Wickory is a blend of “wick” and “wizardry” — inspired by the small moment of magic that happens when a candle is lit and a space begins to glow.
Founded in 2025 by Akanksha Jawa, Wickory began with a simple belief: that a handcrafted object should be beautiful enough to keep and meaningful enough to give. What started as a love for sculpting with wax has grown into a small studio of hand-poured beeswax candles — floral bouquets, layered jars, festive pieces, and keepsakes — each made to feel rare.

Why Beeswax
OUR CHOICE OF MATERIAL
Every Wickory piece is made with 100% pure beeswax — never paraffin, never synthetic blends. It's a deliberate choice. Beeswax burns cleaner and longer than conventional wax, carries a soft natural honey warmth, and is a renewable, non-toxic material. For us, natural ingredients aren't a selling point; they're the starting point.
Our Craft
Each piece is hand-poured and sculpted in small batches. A single flower is shaped petal by petal; a layered jar is built colour by colour. Because every candle is finished by hand, no two are exactly alike — the gentle variation between one bloom and the next is the proof that a person made it. Many of our designs are created to feel sculptural and display-worthy even before they're lit, blending candle-making with thoughtful decorative design.
